SQL Toolkit provides a means to programmatically compare and synchronize database schemas and data, either as a standalone scheduled task, or as part of a bigger application. SQL Toolkit:
- Provides API access to Red Gate tools
- Provides command line control over Red Gate tools
- Lets you write your own comparison applications
- Automates tasks using ALL the new objects, XML datatypes and CLR assemblies in SQL Server 2005
- Allows you to schedule synchronizations
It does this by giving you access to the APIs, as well as the command line utilities used within our SQL database comparison and synchronization tools. By accessing these you can completely automate all your SQL comparison and synchronization jobs.
You can, for example, create a program to schedule the comparison and synchronization of your SQL databases; then automate their installation, replication and verification.
